One page for the whole group, every handle on the roster with its role next to it. Somebody already on the list has to put you there, and the list stops at 100.
Free, same as the rest of Alias. You can delete it again whenever you like.

Groups have always done this.
Before anybody called it a landing page, releases shipped with a text file, and near the bottom of it there was a list of names. Greetz. Getting named in somebody else's file was the compliment, and half the reason to be in a group at all.
Then GeoCities neighbourhoods, webrings, clan sites with a roster page nobody could stop refreshing. Then the tag in square brackets in front of your own name, so people knew who you ran with before they knew anything else about you. Same instinct every time. Somewhere that says who we are, and who is in.
The instinct never went anywhere. The tools did. Making a site for your friends now means fighting a page builder that assumes you're selling something, or paying for a box and writing HTML at 2am.
This is the roster page, without the 2am part.
Everybody checks for their own name first.
An org chart is just a picture of where you fit. That's the whole appeal, and it's why nobody walks past one without scanning it for themselves.

Roles are the toy. The reason a group actually holds together is that the people in it like each other, which no chart has ever managed to draw.
Roles are what you can do. Prefixes are what you get called.
A role is permission. Who can invite, who can remove, who can delete the whole thing. A prefix is none of that. It's a label you hand out because somebody earned it, or because it's funny. The same square brackets people have been sticking in front of their names since clan tags.

It rides along on their own profile.
Nobody gets promoted for being called SNIPER. That's the point of keeping them apart.
It shows up on your page too.
Join a group and a widget lands on your own profile: the group's name, its avatar, your role, and whatever prefix you were given. Anyone who taps it ends up on the roster.
Leave, and it's gone the next time somebody loads your page. Nobody has to go and tidy up after you.

Invite only, on purpose.
Anything you can walk into is just a page with names on it. Being hard to get into is what makes a list worth being on, so these four do not bend.
- No join button
There isn't one anywhere, for anybody. The only way onto a roster is somebody already on it putting you there.
- 100 seats
A hard cap, counted from the Owner down. When it's full, it's full.
- One group each
Your account holds a single membership. Joining somewhere else means leaving here first.
- Invites die after 7 days
Send up to 30 an hour. Anything nobody claims goes stale on its own.
It's free.
Making a group, styling it, filling all 100 seats, handing out three prefixes. None of it costs anything.
If the Owner has Alias+, that goes up to five prefixes, and the page gets a custom meta title and description, its own OG image, and background overlay control. Everything else works exactly the same either way.
We're not going to put your friends behind a paywall.
